daily inspiration: shift happens (3 of 3) – opening to change

on:Sometimes we Do Not want things to Change. Yet, there they are. Yes, we know there’s a standard negative reaction to unwelcome events (say, a tsunami, a death, a relationship breakup, or losing your job). But some can also have a hard time with positive news, too – any change can feel threatening. Either way, try this:
- Close your eyes and take some deep breaths.
- Ask yourself, “What gift or lesson could this bring in disguise?”
- Feel – or at least imagine that you can feel – the energy of the change. Sense what it brings to the planet, and to your life.
- Ask for its hidden message of transformation to be revealed to you.
- Invite this shift into your heart, and welcome it – and thank it – for bringing what you didn’t know you needed.
